Building leadership capability across NSW more leaders join the network

March has been a HUGE month for the Leaders for IMPACT team with events held on the Mid North Coast, Northern Rivers Region, Greater Sydney and far South Coast. Business and community leaders enjoyed the opportunity to come together to innovate and collaborate and to share their challenges and opportunities. Reflections from our members and leaders from these sessions included: opportunity, courage, activism, connection, support, leadership, success, sustainability, community, growth, people, innovation, inspiration, thought provoking, new perspectives … and so much more The month started in Port Macquarie, with the kick of our Mid North Coast Hub. It was an opportunity to share the Leaders for IMPACT experience with a mix of local business owners and CEOs, chaired by Troy Krogh. There was such diversity of expertise and talent in the room and an opportunity to discuss current issues and opportunities for these businesses and the region. Mid North Coast event - 9 March Then, in two very special events, more than 80 leaders came together to hear 2 amazing and insightful speaker panels and participate in 5 collaboration Hubs in the Northern Rivers and Greater Sydney regions. Leaders for IMPACT members and leaders shared opportunities, discussed the big issues and talked about the role of leadership in shaping the future we want! Northern Rivers event - 16 March (above) Sydney event - 17 March (above) We rounded out the month with another launch, this time of our Far South Coast Hub, chaired by Mia Maze. The Leaders for IMPACT Scorecard App – coming in November

The Leaders for IMPACT Scorecard App – coming in November

The Scorecard is a tool for members that: • Manages their member profile – individual profiles (photos, personal purpose statements, strengths) and business details (sector, revenue, employee numbers etc.) • Seamlessly records and tracks progress against annual and 90-day goals. It aligns these goals to the pillars of Performance, People and Planet, integrates strengths to achieve success and celebrates achievement. This can all be done in real time at a Hub meeting as well as any time in between meetings. • Does a monthly check in to track and monitor leadership confidence, wellbeing & business outlook. And, excitingly, • Provides the first ever annual self-assessment for their business against several key metrics aligned to Performance, People and Planet, to help set goals and drive business success.

Supporting more leaders than ever in the Northern Rivers region

Last week members of the Leaders for IMPACT Network in the Northern Rivers region came together to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of the network and to announce plans to build to 3-4 Leadership Hubs in the region by the end of the year. Local Leadership Chair, Nikki Beaumont, who is the CEO of Beaumont people and recognised as one of the Top 10 Women Entrepreneurs in 2018 explained why she joined this growing leadership network. “I wanted to do something more in my local community and use both my business skills and my passion for businesses having a greater impact beyond just profit.” “Chairing a peer to peer advisory group (Hub) provided this opportunity and I have found working with the local business leaders from the for profit and for purpose sectors in my Hub constantly inspiring! They are a bunch of great people running a wide range of businesses in the region who have really appreciated being able to connect and support each other succeed.”
The event brought together members and friends of the Network and provided the opportunity to introduce the benefits of the program to other local leaders and business owners.
Local business leader Tony Gilding, owner of Macadamia Castle, explained the value of the program for his business and personally as a leader.

“The Leaders for IMPACT Hub members have given me excellent support and selflessly provided me with valuable network contacts. I look forward to my Hub meetings, they revitalise me and give me good time and space to think of the big picture”

The Leaders for IMPACT leadership program is open to CEOs and business Leaders from the private, government and for purpose sectors (non-profit and social enterprise). Uniquely, we bring together these diverse leaders in professional chaired peer advisory Hubs each month in a confidential environment to discuss strategy and work through real time leadership and business challenges and opportunities.
