Supporting more leaders than ever in the Northern Rivers region

Last week members of the Leaders for IMPACT Network in the Northern Rivers region came together to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of the network and to announce plans to build to 3-4 Leadership Hubs in the region by the end of the year.

Local Leadership Chair, Nikki Beaumont, who is the CEO of Beaumont people and recognised as one of the Top 10 Women Entrepreneurs in 2018 explained why she joined this growing leadership network.

“I wanted to do something more in my local community and use both my business skills and my passion for businesses having a greater impact beyond just profit.”

“Chairing a peer to peer advisory group (Hub) provided this opportunity and I have found working with the local business leaders from the for profit and for purpose sectors in my Hub constantly inspiring! They are a bunch of great people running a wide range of businesses in the region who have really appreciated being able to connect and support each other succeed.” The event brought together members and friends of the Network and provided the opportunity to introduce the benefits of the program to other local leaders and business owners. Local business leader Tony Gilding, owner of Macadamia Castle, explained the value of the program for his business and personally as a leader. “The Leaders for IMPACT Hub members have given me excellent support and selflessly provided me with valuable network contacts. I look forward to my Hub meetings, they revitalise me and give me good time and space to think of the big picture” The Leaders for IMPACT leadership program is open to CEOs and business Leaders from the private, government and for purpose sectors (non-profit and social enterprise). Uniquely, we bring together these diverse leaders in professional chaired peer advisory Hubs each month in a confidential environment to discuss strategy and work through real time leadership and business challenges and opportunities. Importantly, we are underpinned by a commitment to “Business for Good” practises – a focus on performance, people and planet.
